Just as things were hotting up I grabbed a huge jar of peanut butter to accompany a huge jar of strawberry jelly I’d recently bought. Now the trick is making sure I have fresh bread, and then I’m set.

Who needs bread? Ah, the joys of bachelor life. I just have to use one of those really long spoons they use for iced tea!

No, this is wrong. Peanut butter comes in JARS, not cans. That is blasphemy.

Price reduced bacon?! What mad man would leave bacon at the store for long enough for it to go on sale!

It’s the first markdown meat I’ve seen at the store since this whole SIP order thing went into effect. And it looks like very good bacon - lots of meat. I think I’ll make a BLT, minus the lettuce and tomato...

Whadya mean you’ve never seen creamy peanut butter before? :P
I was gonna comment the same thing. I guess they had some Pringles cans shipped to them.

How much was that PB? My wife said the local store wanted $8 for a small jar.

I think it was $11.69. It’s from Walmart, and like Chunky Manhattan Clam Chowder, it’s the only place I can find it. You have to go to the bulk/seasonal aisle to find it, which works great for me since that’s also where they have the markdown non-perishable food.

Yeah, I’ve packed on a few pounds whilst stuck at home. I’ve dropped a few, but still have a few more to go to get to my pre-layoff weight. Then I can think about the other 50 that need to go...

We go through peanut butter in our house crazy fast because of the boys - we didn’t stock up on tp, we didn’t stock up on water, etc. But my wife made darn sure that we had enough peanut butter to last through the coming apoca lypse.
